Cairns private horse riding tours are really good for groups and families that want their own tour without other riders or tourists. What we really like about the private tour is that you have your own personal guide with you to take you out to explore  the best parts of this unique property. This private horse riding tour is ideal for riders who can have a tour tailored to their ability and who do not wish to be with other riders. Cairns private horse riding tours are for a minimum of 2 persons. If it is 1 person the tour can still go with the rider paying for the minimum 2 person option.

Cape Tribulation Horse Riding 

Cape Tribulation Horse Riding is located 3 hours north of Cairns. To go horse riding at Cape Tribulation you need to make your own way to Cape Tribulation, at least 3 hours drive from Cairns each way. This is one of the few places in the world where you can be on a horse along the beach.

This horse riding tour combines taking your horse through rainforest and then walking your horse along Cape Tribulation Beach. It is scenically stunning. This tour is great if you are going to stay in Cape Tribulation. There are no bus transfers from Cairns but we can hire you a car to get there, phone us to discuss the best options for you.

The tour is more suitable for beginners than experienced riders as the horse riding is limited to  walking your horse through rainforest and walking your horse along the beach. There maybe opportunity to take your horse into the shallow ocean water subject to the guides discretion on the day.

Kur Cow Farm Horse Riding with petting zoo entry at Kuranda

Kur Cow Horse Riding with petting zoo entry at Kuranda is a great activity for kids and the whole family. Enjoy the horse ride through a mix of farm land and rainforest. This is a great horse riding activity for young children and families. The ticket price includes free entry into the petting zoo where the children can get close to all the farm animals. If additional persons who are not horse riding or wish to stay at the farm or go to the petting zoo whilst the other members of the group are horse riding, the cost is $15 a person.

Horse riding at Kur Cow gives you a farm experience on the horse ride, riding past other farm animals. The 1 hour horse ride is ideal for young children from 6 years of age.
