Cairns Semi-Submersible Tours
Through large viewing windows the air-conditioned Semi-Submersible provides a diverse perspective of the reef without getting wet. Everyone enjoys the semisubmersible tour. It is a wonderful way to get up close to the Great Barrier Reef without getting wet.
Sitting 1metre below the waterline you are taken on a 30 minute guided tour of the reef with commentary from a Marine Naturalist.

An underwater reef viewing observatory is open for you to walk through at any time of the day. Watch the Introductory Scuba Divers head off from our moon pool.
At lunchtime, the Marine Biologist will announce the fish feeding demonstration which starts in front of the observatory windows before moving to the snorkel platform.
The feeding frenzy includes large schools of Red Bass, Trevally and a resident giant Maori Wrasse affectionately named Wally.
